The story of Kota Lutheran Church

LCM Kota Lutheran Church is a congregation of the Lutheran Church in Malaysia, in the Kota Kemuning industrial area of Shah Alam.

What we believe

We are a church that holds the Bible to be true, and we hope to be people who love God and love others.

Mission
To share the gospel through worship, teaching and care, to help believers grow in faith, and to serve the community around us.

We treasure God's love, care for and support one another in fellowship, and want to walk alongside people of every culture and background.

Our history

  1. 2000

    Kota Lutheran Church is founded. It began as a gathering of a few believers and grew, as needs grew, into today's congregation.

  2. 2002

    Pastor Foo begins serving in the Lutheran Church in Malaysia. He is now pastor of Kota Lutheran Church.

  3. 2016

    Ms. Mary Lim joins Kota Lutheran Church.

  4. Today

    Alongside Sunday worship, the church carries out community care locally and supports mission and relief work overseas.
